"The colors are so beautiful. Your work is fascinating!" L.L.
I’ve found it hard to use maple leaves in my leaf art because of their shape. Their color is so wonderful though. I found these maple leaves on the ground this fall as I was walking down a street not far from my house. The colors were so stunning! Was glad I could come up with a way to use them. Love the little falling leaf with the hook umbrella handle. Also discovered milkweed leaves and the delicate veins and colors are amazing. I never knew how beautiful they were. I also discovered that their flowers are wonderfully fragrant! Oak, iris, poplar, burning bush, orange sumac and small azalea leaves.
Deciduous tree LEAVES fall down in Autumn, then grow back in Spring. They have to fall so they can grow back. People fall down too. Sometimes we have to fall so we can blossom anew too.
As leaves are biodegradable and will fade and deteriorate quickly, original Art is scanned immediately after creation, preserving their beauty long after originals are gone. Enjoy!
